Photos of Avalon VFD 100th Anniversary Celebration, October 19, 2013
On Thursday, February 12, 2015 shortly before 11:00 p.m. Avalon Fire was dispatched to the area of the 4800 block of 5th Avenue for a reported structure fire. High winds and frigid temperatures hampered efforts destroying a new home under construction and an unoccupied vacation home nearby. AVFD thanks the fifteen neighboring Fire Stations who assisted with water supply and manpower that night. (Some Photo credits are unavailable at this time)
